Summary

 

What I love about being a marketing director is helping businesses find and prioritise their growth opportunities and then developing the marketing programmes and teams to deliver on them. Originally brand and product marketing trained, I crossed into digital early on and have built and run award winning e-commerce websites, apps and performance marketing campaigns. I’ve been fortunate to hold the top marketing role in a number of successful businesses in the travel, leisure and tech sectors typically with both B2C and B2B audiences. My approach is hands-on, collaborative and target driven with customer data and experience at the heart.

 

Experience

Auction Technology Group PLC- Member of the board that delivered the successful IPO in Feb 2021. Rebuilt the SEO and CRM programmes from scratch delivering 30% growth in bidders. Introduced a UX function and delivered a 3-year vision for the 6 marketplace websites. Produced record level of partner marketing campaigns.Big Bus Tours Ltd- Transformed the online channel, trebling revenue to $55m. Built Europe’s first Magento 2.0 website. Won awards for website design, app creation, PPC strategy and social media. Redefined the brand and global customer experienceNeilson Active Holidays - Built the company’s first independent B2C marketing and B2B sales functions and programmes
Europcar UK- Ran UK marketing and e-commerce teams for Europcar, National and Alamo car hire brands. Led Europcar’s first foray into sponsorship with Leicester City and Arsenal
TravelHorizon - Ran the marketing function at Europe’s leading online ski marketplace based in France
